With the use of a slightly different Solar technology, Off-Grid Solar is designed to help your property operate independently.
Victron Technology
Using Victron MultiPlus technology, an off-grid system can charge its battery bank from both the solar array and a backup generator. The MultiPlus inverter/charger manages these inputs automatically, prioritising solar energy when available and switching to generator charging when required. This allows the property to maintain a stable electrical supply even during periods of low solar generation.
The system also supports features such as automated generator start, load management, and remote monitoring, helping ensure consistent operation in an off-grid environment.

Case Study
Self-Sufficient with Solar!
This was a slightly different solar installation during August 2023. It was an off grid new build small bungalow integrated with a battery and generator. Set in the woods, an hour away from Norwich into the Norfolk countryside, the cost of connecting this home to the main grid would have been prohibitive.
