Solar Electrician
As a Solar Electrician at Green Solar Footprint, you’ll be responsible for the safe and compliant installation of Solar PV systems, battery storage, and EV chargers across domestic and commercial projects.
You’ll work closely with our installation teams to deliver high-quality systems that meet both regulatory standards and customer expectations, taking pride in workmanship and attention to detail.
Electrical Apprentice
As an Electrical Apprentice, you’ll gain hands-on experience working alongside qualified electricians on renewable energy installations, including Solar PV, battery storage, and EV charging systems.
This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, develop practical skills, and build a long-term career in the renewable energy sector within a supportive and growing team.
Labour Subcontractor
Our Labour Subcontractors support installation teams with on-site preparation, panel mounting, cable management, and general labouring tasks.
This role suits reliable, safety-focused individuals who take pride in working efficiently on residential and commercial renewable projects and contributing to smooth, high-quality installations.
Technician Roles
Design Engineer
The Design Engineer plays a key role in developing compliant and efficient system designs for Solar PV, battery storage, and EV charger installations.
You’ll be responsible for system layouts and electrical designs, ensuring every project is optimised for performance, safety, and long-term reliability.
Commission Engineer
The Commission Engineer is responsible for managing the grid compliance process for Solar PV and battery storage installations, including the creation and submission of G98, G99, and G100 applications. This role acts as a key point of contact with the local Distribution Network Operators (DNOs), ensuring clear communication, timely approvals, and strong working relationships.
You’ll help ensure all systems are commissioned in line with network requirements, supporting smooth project delivery and long-term operational compliance.
Marketing Manager
The Marketing Manager is responsible for growing brand awareness and lead generation through digital and offline marketing channels.
This role involves managing campaigns, content, and performance tracking, while ensuring Green Solar Footprint’s values, mission, and commitment to sustainability are clearly communicated to homeowners and commercial partners.
